Dear Leo and Abby,

I want to join a hapless group of twentysomethings trying to save their favorite cafe from closure after reading…

Your comic has great characters that get into extra funny shenanigans. From cosplay, to candy dealing, to a crazy quiz bowl, to romance, to body issues, and insecurities. It has everything a twentysomething can relate to! I like how they all hang out and they feel like an honest friend group. There is some jealousy, anger, and sarcasm. There is plenty of love, laughs, and caring too! I really admire the way the group and their story is written.

The characters are really something special. They all are designed in a mindful way with consideration of their personalities. I like how diverse all the characters are and how we are slowly getting to know each one! I think Ebba is my favorite. So cute and buff! I think obviously Barry and Renee need to be together. I love how Sylvia is obsessed with food. I really enjoy how Evelyn is just mean! I am excited to see the turn Treeroot is about to take. That is, it seems like we are about to drive deeper into these characters and their insecurities, starting with Evelyn. I’m excited! I can not wait to learn more.

The art is amazing and the writing is awesome! You two make a great team!

Keep up the hard work and being creative!

Dear Ryan and Sage,

I’ve drank some…

And this one is the best I’ve ever had! Your comic is so sweet and exciting! I am really enjoying watching Esther and Maria’s interactions. I just scream “ASK HER OUT!!” over and over. Yet, it’s nice to see them just enjoying each others company and their friends being supportive but not pushy. It’s all just super sweet. I love when Maria’s friend went with her to ask Esther for more study time. Ahhhhh! too cute!

I am so fond of magical comics and adventures! I just love seeing how different writers/ artists interpret the theme. I think the writing and the art is so awesome and you two have done an amazing job! The story is coming along nicely and I am hooked!!! I am invested in seeing what happens with Esther and Maria and also to learn more about the world! And the art makes me swoon. So many lovely colors and compliments. Everything looks well thought out and designed.

Great work and great comic. I can not wait to see more!

Keep up the hard work and being creative!

Dear Webcomic Artists,

Reading your work has been something that has always excited me. “New Update?! AWESOME” Yet, it took me doing this blog and really looking into what made webcomics happen to truly appreciate/ understand them and their creators. I have followed a lot of careers throughout my reading years and I really admire all the hard work that goes into creating a story that is 100% yours.

You put in hours creating content that people can share and enjoy from anywhere. You don’t know who it may impact and how much it means to people but you put it out there anyway because it means something to you. And that’s what matters, how much it means to you. Because as a reader, I can tell. I can tell if you’ve poured your heart and personality into something. I can also tell when you haven’t and are just trudging along. Either way, you are trying and growing and killing it!

Some of you want to quit and I see it a lot on twitter or when a webcomic page stops updating. It’s really sad, but makes sense. You all have skills that deserve to be recognized and compensated for. Your time is worth something and it’s good to realize that. Whatever your reason to quit or keep going, know that it’s all up to you and your happiness.

I hope that you will keep going. I hope that you continue to find value and joy from creating and sharing. I want you to be fulfilled and to make things you are proud of. And you should be proud! Because you put out content that is amazing and special and unique. Things that publishers or studios may not want to put out there, but you do because you believe in it and you know others may too. And I believe in it!

If you are reading this and are a creator, keep it up! If you are reading this and are a webcomic reader, show your support! Write your own letter, tweet at creators and let them know you love them! They want to hear from you!! Know that they don’t owe you anything! You owe them! And they owe everything to themselves for making great work!!

Keep up the hard work and being creative!

Dear Abbadon,

There is a bunch of crazy @#$% that happens in…

Image result for kill 6 billion demons!

Oh GOLLY! First of all: amazing details, amazing colors, amazing character design. Hands down. That could go unsaid. It is a universal truth even YISUN would believe. “Abbadon, is the true artist.” That is what YISUN would say. Truth…but he is a liar…so…Well, I say you’re great so there is that. Second of all: this writing…

It is so good. So good and I just as so thankful and so happy and so overjoyed at the amount of detail that is in this webcomic you have made with your hands and your brain. You really have constructed a rich and interesting history of the multiverse that your comic takes place in. I find your approach to the “thrown into an unknown world” troupe very refreshing and new. I love how you take inspiration from religion to construct your own Psalms, the Spasms. I love how extensive the Kill 6 Billion Demons Wiki is! It just further allows a reader to dive in and be emmursed in this culture which you are the ultimate creator of. You have obviously put your heart, your soul, and your brain into this work and I just wanted to say with all my heart: I love it. I am in love with it.

Please, keep up the hard work and being creative.

Dear Michael Sweater,

I super relate to…

I just love how your comic touches on anxiety and depression in such cute ways. The way your characters struggle with their ambitions is actually exactly how I feel right now. I want to do work I am passionate about but it is hard sometimes to find the energy. It’s nice to find a comic with characters I can feel comradery with.

Sometimes its hard for me to pick a comic to write about, but when I saw “Please, Keep Warm.” I just knew I would love it! Just based on your style alone! The way you draw your illustrations makes me think of a woodblock print or a tattoo. I love your clean line shading and black outlines. Everything looks thought out and stylist! I love it! And I love you for drawing it!

Keep up the hard work and being creative!
